"Very clean and updated and right next to the ski slopes. Easy to find and get to. When it's ski season the location will be ideal as you could probably walk there. Very comfortable, well cared for and restful place. Loved the fireplace be being able to sit and read and look out the window. The host was extremely responsive and obviously takes great pride in their place. The only downsides to our stay were first, the listing is described as a "cabin" and it is not. This is a condo/apartment/townhome. We were looking to stay in an independent and stand alone dwelling, a cabin, so we were surprised that it was an apartment complex. We still enjoyed our stay and it was quiet when we were there, but would have wanted to be prepared. Secondly, just be aware that the refrigerator does not open all the way as the door hits the baseboard. However, the kitchen has all that you need, plenty of fresh towels and very clean. I will stay again. I appreciate the host's care and concern."

Literally could not be closer to Snow Summit, so we were able to get a 6 year old to a 9am snowboard lesson and then come back and clean up and pack up. We were able to stay parked that day even though we checked out at 11am, which meant we didn't have to also pay for parking, as it is basically the same lot. You pay a premium to be so close, but if that's worth it to you then this is your spot!"

The Condo is a little older but well maintained. Lighting could be better, the master bedroom mattress was extremely stiff, the towels provided are not very good and small as well, and we really wish the kitchen was a little better stocked for cooking. But we made it work.
Don't let this deter you, this spot is primo for any activity at Snow Summit. Just know it will not be a brand new home, it is a great place to escape from the sun and sleep at night without having to worry about driving anywhere!"

I love that the front door is a keypad. I didn’t have to worry about keeping keys in my pocket or sharing with the family.

Nice hot running water, that says salt a lot considering we’ve stayed at a few places and the water doesn’t reach near the temperature here. Place has just about everything we need (except a blender) but that was a quick drive down the road at one of the thrift shops. Literally around the block from so many shops and restaurants. It was a delight exploring. Very spacious living space and kitchen. Beds and pillows were some of the comfiest (for a side sleeper like me). We were offered a discount too for planning far ahead. Reasonable pricing too. Close to the lake, perfect for a fishing trip. Would definitely book again."

"Absolutely one of the best places we’ve stayed at in Big Bear, literally below the slopes. Waking up every morning to snowboard, coming back for lunch in between because it was right there at the bottom was so extremely epic. I arrived after 5pm on the first night so Parking and getting a parking permit with the host being very responsive to questions and the office staff being friendly and kind just made everything easier than ever.
The inside was very clean and with the awesome snowed-in cozy cabin feel, all we did after snowboarding was play board games by the fireplace.
2 minute walk from the front door to the lift, 5 minute drive to the village were we got food and drinks, 5 minute drive the opposite direction for Vons to get grocers, man I loved the location!
I messaged Chase regarding a few things and he actually called back twice within an hour or two, and I have never actually had a host call to address concerns and fix issues which was amazing to see from an awesome host!"

"I wish I could book this place every time I came to big bear , couldn’t ask for a better location especially if your main goal is snowboarding all day long , about a 5min walk to chair 2 from the front door , hosts are also very nice and responsive"

This place is worth every penny! Great location, right next to Snow Summit. Ample parking spaces save so much time in the morning. The home is about a half-minute walk from Snow Summit. The living area is tidy and clean. Close to the village and many other amenities."

You are just next to the ski resort (next to it, no joke) and can be on the ski lift in a few minutes. We have been twice to this location with our kids making it a real 100% ski trip with nothing else to worry about."
